Sales Manager – Hotel Hospitality

About the role

Join Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel as a Sales Manager, driving the hotel’s leisure segment and building strong client relationships across groups and FIT markets. You will align sales activities with the brand’s strategy and contribute to the hotel’s growth in a vibrant, service‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and articulate the Avani brand strategy and positioning in the marketplace.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Avani product offerings, competitor rates, and industry trends.
• Strategically manage personal sales activities, prioritising key accounts and reviewing performance against potential.
• Identify and develop new client contacts, estimating revenue potential for each.
• Lead the leisure segment (groups and FITs) to achieve financial and non‑financial targets.
• Drive professional development, enhancing financial literacy, negotiation and face‑to‑face selling skills.
• Provide accurate management reporting and support cost‑control procedures.
• Participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure delivery of the hotel’s promise.
• Upsell and cross‑sell hotel products while efficiently handling administrative tasks.

• Strong analytical skills to review account performance and suggest enhancements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with property management systems (PMS) and sales‑specific software.
• Ability to use IT support tools for sales reporting and analysis.
