SAP Functional Consultant

About the role

The SAP Functional Consultant will lead the implementation, configuration, testing, training and post‑go‑live support of SAP Case Management and related SAP solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SAP functional designs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement SAP Case Management and NetWeaver Folder Management across implementation, enhancement and support phases.
• Gather, analyse and validate business requirements with stakeholders and project teams.
• Prepare and review business process documentation, blueprints and solution design documents.
• Configure SAP solutions according to approved requirements and design.
• Execute unit, system, integration and user‑acceptance testing; support final UAT.
• Identify customization needs and coordinate with ABAP developers.
• Support workflow, forms, Fiori, integrations and API‑related functional requirements.
• Create functional specifications, test scripts, issue logs and training materials.
• Deliver key‑user training, knowledge transfer and hand‑over documentation.
• Monitor scope, deliverables and timelines; provide post‑go‑live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of SAP consulting experience.
• At least 5 full‑lifecycle SAP implementation projects as a functional consultant.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Case Management or SAP Record Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodology and end‑to‑end business processes.
• Preferred experience in government/public‑sector service processes.
