School Accountant – Immediate Start (2025-2026)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a dedicated School Accountant to join Al Danah Charter School in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and supports the school’s financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for the academic year 2025‑2026.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices for tuition, exam fees, trips and other school services.
• Call parents daily to follow up on payments and issue receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and provide statements to the Treasury Accountant.
• Manage petty‑cash transactions in line with company policies.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger.
• Assist the Principal with budget preparation and modification.
• Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budgeting, strategic planning and monthly closing activities.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly financial reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Support school staff in adhering to finance policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of advanced accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven administrative skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software (generic).
