School Operations Manager

About the role

Taileem is seeking an experienced operations professional to lead and oversee all operational services at its Al Barsha campus in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations and working closely with the School Principal, you will ensure smooth, compliant and cost‑effective delivery of school services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead staff including Facilities Manager, Procurement Assistant, IT Assistant and Head Nurse; manage KPIs, appraisals and professional development.
• Oversee operational budgets (R&M, FFE, licensing, utilities, IT), purchase orders and delegation of authority compliance.
• Review procurement documentation, monitor vendor payments, ensure asset tagging and conduct QA/QC of vendor performance.
• Implement Taaleem and regulatory health & safety protocols, maintain risk assessments, inspections and incident reports, and chair HSE meetings.
• Manage school event and field‑trip approvals, liaise with transport and third‑party vendors, and resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor R&M budgets and maintenance delivery, oversee CCTV usage and escalate site‑level risks.
• Ensure timely renewal of licences, maintain compliance records, and monitor adherence to UAE authority policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leaders, staff and external vendors.
