Section Head - Infrastructure and Network (UAE National)

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for enterprise infrastructure, networking, and cloud services across hybrid environments. The role will drive Azure modernization, lead technical teams and partners, and ensure secure, highly available, and cost‑effective technology services that support critical business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight for the Infrastructure, Network and Cloud function.
• Own architecture, lifecycle management and modernization of on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Drive Azure adoption, hybrid‑cloud initiatives and cloud transformation to improve scalability, resilience and efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise networking, connectivity and network security technologies, ensuring robust performance and availability.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, technology teams and strategic vendors to deliver innovative, business‑aligned solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure, network and cloud environments in large organisations.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, disaster recovery and high‑availability architectures.
• Experience with Cisco technologies, network security platforms and Microsoft 365 services.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CCIE, ITIL are highly desirable.
