Security Officer

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Security Team at Jumeirah Beach Hotel for a highly motivated and hard‑working individual to protect guests, colleagues and property.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all JBH & Jumeirah policies and procedures related to security and safety.
• Observe and report suspicious activities to the proper authorities.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, manage access control, keys, and emergency response.
• Escalate fire, life and safety concerns to senior security staff.
• Maintain detailed entries in security logbooks and registers.
• Assist security managers in supervising security personnel and implementing safety procedures.
• Monitor CCTV system, fire alarm panel, emergency telephone, elevator control and emergency lighting.
• Control access to the Security Control Room and maintain its cleanliness.
• Handle lost‑and‑found enquiries, safe custody of items, and issue metal/electronic keys.
• Maintain key register, daily cash float and envelope dropping.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and hard‑working individual.
• Ability to follow Jumeirah Beach Hotel policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond promptly to emergencies.

Required skills

• CCTV system monitoring.
• Fire alarm panel operation.
• Emergency telephone handling.
• Access control and key management.
• Foot and vehicle patrol execution.
