Security Team Leader

About the role

The Security Team Leader oversees daily security operations at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, ensuring the safety of guests, staff, visitors, and hotel assets. This guest‑focused position requires strong leadership, quick decision‑making, and strict adherence to hotel policies, UAE regulations, and emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate a team of Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Conduct daily briefings, shift handovers and post assignments.
• Monitor entrances, exits, public areas, back‑of‑house zones, parking and other designated locations.
• Perform regular patrols, identify risks and respond to suspicious activity via CCTV and access‑control systems.
• Manage keys, access cards, staff and contractor passes.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, accidents and security threats.
• Investigate incidents and produce accurate reports.
• Coordinate with hotel departments and external authorities such as police and civil defence.
• Maintain security equipment, radios and CCTV systems in good condition.

Required profile

• Professional, guest‑oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, enforce discipline and provide on‑the‑job coaching.
• Strong knowledge of UAE security regulations and hotel safety standards.
• Experience handling emergency procedures (fire, evacuation, medical, bomb‑threat).
