Senior Account Executive – Finance

About the role

Join Deriv’s Trading Finance team in Dubai as a Senior Account Executive. You will work on real regulated entities, handling client‑money obligations and monthly financial close cycles, while learning the intricacies of CFD revenue recognition.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations throughout the monthly close.
• Follow the close calendar, understand the purpose of each entry, and identify errors early.
• Learn and apply CFD revenue logic, including A‑book and B‑book mechanics.
• Support accounting for CFD broker, VASP/CASP, and banking‑licensed entities.
• Assist with audit preparation by building workpapers and organising supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Early‑career finance professional eager to develop expertise in regulated trading environments.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work under tight monthly deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with experienced accountants and a proactive team leader.

Required skills

• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and journal‑entry processes.
• Basic knowledge of financial reconciliation and month‑end close activities.
