Senior Accounting Operations and Consolidation Manager

About the role

CFI Financial Group, a trading provider with more than 25 years of experience across offices in London, Larnaca, Beirut, Amman, Dubai and Port Louis, is hiring a Senior Accounting Operations and Consolidation Manager. The role covers statutory reporting, regulatory filings, consolidation and internal controls, and supports the CFO in analysing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee statutory financial statements and quarterly reports in line with IFRS and SCA regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of SCA regulatory filings, disclosures and other financial reports.
• Lead disclosures under IAS 33 and IFRS 8 and manage the Annual Reports & Accounts.
• Oversee Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) and maintain a compliant internal control environment.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators and consultants on audits and compliance reviews.
• Support the CFO in analysing financial performance, trends and variances.
• Monitor SCA regulatory developments and update policies and procedures where needed.
• Contribute to corporate governance, risk management and audit committee reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent certification.
• 8-10 years in financial control or reporting, including at least 3 years in a publicly listed company in the UAE.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets or brokerage preferred; experience in CFD brokerage or regulated financial services highly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SCA regulations, IFRS and UAE tax and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with IAS 33, IFRS 8 disclosures, ARA preparation and ICOFR.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Familiarity with XBRL reporting as per SCA standards is required.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
