About the role
The Senior Associate will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, review financial statements and provide technical accounting services while supervising junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of client engagements, including audit planning, risk identification and strategy development.
- Prepare and review work papers, drafts of financial statements and client deliverables such as management reports.
- Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns throughout the audit process.
- Utilize AI, advanced analytics and data visualisations to enhance audit efficiency.
- Engage proactively with clients, offering strategic recommendations and staying updated on industry trends.
Required profile
- Experience with complex audits, including group audits.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of IPSAS (mandatory).
- Ability to lead projects and supervise staff.
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed.
