Senior Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements elicitation with government stakeholders in Ajman. You will translate business needs into clear, structured documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions with government stakeholders to capture business requirements.
• Map current (as‑is) processes and design future (to‑be) service journeys using BPMN 2.0 and swimlane diagrams.
• Produce Business Requirements Documents, business rules, functional specifications and wireframes.
• Write detailed user stories and backlog items with testable acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
• Maintain traceability from objectives to delivered functionality and obtain formal sign‑off.
• Resolve conflicting requirements across departments and manage non‑functional requirements such as security and data privacy.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on business analysis on software delivery projects.
• Proven experience delivering digital services for government or public‑sector clients in the UAE or GCC.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Currently residing in the UAE with valid residency and able to work onsite in Ajman.

Required skills

• BPMN 2.0 process modelling (Visio, Draw.io, Camunda or similar).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira for backlog management.
• Strong documentation skills for BRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.
