Senior Civil Engineer - High-Rise Construction

About the role

Careers International is hiring a professional Civil Engineer with extensive experience in high-rise building construction. The engineer plans, executes and supervises all structural and civil works, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site operations, structural works and construction progress
• Manage quality control and ensure compliance with design specifications and drawings
• Coordinate with consultants, architects and subcontractors
• Conduct structural inspections, review work progress and resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain site documentation such as progress reports and material logs
• Supervise concrete works, formwork, rebar and finishing activities
• Participate in technical meetings and implement design modifications
• Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget
• Assist in procurement of materials and site planning
• Oversee implementation of safety protocols on site

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in high-rise building projects in the UAE
• Solid knowledge of local codes, structural systems and construction practices
• Strong project management, problem-solving and reporting skills

Required skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Primavera and MS Project
