Senior Civil Structural Engineer Offshore

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will be part of the Core Engineering Team or a Project Management Team, providing technical leadership for offshore civil and structural works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis and verification of offshore civil and structural systems for oil and gas or petrochemical facilities.
• Supervise and mentor on‑shore civil/structural engineers, delegating tasks and ensuring quality control.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports and progress updates for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 6 years on offshore oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience in project management or PMC roles is preferred.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer or independently as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and related procedures.
