Senior Construction Engineer – Rotating Equipment

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer specialized in rotating equipment to lead on‑site construction activities for oil and gas projects. The role focuses on the installation, mechanical completion, and flange management of heavy rotating packages such as turbines, compressors, and pumps.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site installation and mechanical completion of rotating equipment packages.
• Oversee flange management and alignment of heavy rotating units.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning of turbines, compressors, pumps, and related auxiliary systems.
• Collaborate with EPC teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting for all construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 17 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in oil & gas EPC projects.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with installation, alignment, and testing of Siemens centrifugal compressors and auxiliary systems.
• Experience with ADNOC projects is considered an advantage.
