Senior Corporate Governance Manager

About the role

The Senior Corporate Governance Manager will lead the corporate governance function for an international energy organisation in Dubai, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the governance framework, Board processes, committee structures and delegated authority models.
• Provide senior oversight of compliance programmes covering sanctions, AML, KYC, anti‑bribery and conduct risk.
• Drive ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, responsible trading initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with regulators, auditors, investors, banks and senior leadership to strengthen governance and risk management.
• Champion a culture of ethical decision‑making and corporate accountability across the organisation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in corporate governance, compliance, company secretarial or related functions with leadership responsibility.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, Board governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience overseeing KYC/AML, sanctions or risk management in a regulated sector.
• Proven track record in ESG strategy, sustainability reporting and senior stakeholder engagement.
