Senior Cost Controller

About the role

The Senior Cost Controller will lead cost and estimating management for a major EPC project, ensuring safe, on‑time, and within‑budget delivery while providing financial oversight to the Owner and Project Management Consultant.

Key responsibilities

• Review, monitor and control project costs, verifying EPC contractor payment requests and milestone achievements.
• Prepare and present cost reports, forecasts, and exception analyses to senior management and the Owner.
• Support the Project Controls Manager, PMC, and Owner teams with budgeting, progress measurement, and change order evaluation.
• Participate in risk, constructability, and value‑engineering workshops, providing financial input.
• Maintain statistical databases, perform trend analysis, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate cost and schedule deviations.
• Oversee cash‑flow monitoring, multi‑currency management, and financial agreement administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 15+ years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the GCC region and at least 3 years in a similar senior cost control role on international projects.
• Proven experience in FEED, EPC, PMC roles, and offshore projects; ADNOC experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost control processes, budgeting, forecasting, and change order management.
