Senior Cost Manager - Pre/Post-Contract Projects

About the role

Currie & Brown is looking for a Senior Cost Manager with experience in pre- and post-contract projects to join its growing team in Abu Dhabi. You will support project leaders in delivering a high standard of service, achieving successful outcomes for clients, sharing knowledge across projects and strengthening the company's reputation as a preferred service provider.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments
• Set objectives and priorities and act as a proactive team player
• Maintain effective communication and liaise with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
• Undertake cost management services with limited supervision
• Support team leaders and service leaders in the cost management of projects
• Meet, negotiate and correspond with clients professionally to build strong working relationships

Required profile

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
• Previous technical delivery experience in a global consultancy firm
• Experience on large developments such as hospitality, leisure, residential and retail
• Abu Dhabi-based; Middle East experience is essential
