Senior Document Controller – Offshore Project

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller for an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves registering, issuing, and managing day‑to‑day project documentation to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Enter document control data accurately into the system and generate required reports.
• Assemble and manage documentation using Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Issue project information and documentation promptly, keeping it up‑to‑date.
• Store and file received documentation from clients, vendors, and other sources.
• Ensure Penspen documentation follows company formatting and procedural standards.
• Maintain revision records, comments, and a QA‑auditable database of all deliverables.
• Keep electronic records of all deliverables and related correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing project deliverables such as drawings, specifications, manuals, and vendor submittals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload.
• High attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Proactive, independent worker and effective team player.
