Senior E&I Inspector

About the role

The Senior E&I Inspector will lead inspection activities for new builds and brown‑field modifications of high‑voltage power distribution systems in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. The role involves close coordination with EPC contractors, manufacturers and client representatives to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify construction of 33 kV, 11 kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V power distribution networks, including switchgear, control gear, UPS, earthing, lighting and underground cabling.
• Conduct FAT and SAT for electrical and instrumentation equipment, liaising with EPC contractors and client teams.
• Interpret EPC and vendor design documents to support testing, commissioning and modification of DCS, ESD, fire‑and‑gas and control‑room systems.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of inspection experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Strong written and spoken English, with ability to produce technical reports.
• Computer literate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO and other international standards.
• Familiarity with codes such as ASME, AWS, API, DNV and BS.
