Senior Engineer – DCS/ESD Graphics & Logic

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the generation and debugging of process graphics, ESD and FGS displays, and simple control logic for industrial automation projects. The role involves close interaction with customers during pre‑FAT and FAT phases and contributes to the successful delivery of HMI‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate process graphics and ESD/FGS displays according to P&ID and HMI specifications.
• Configure trend and control groups for monitoring and control.
• Develop simple open‑ and close‑loop logic and identify loops from P&ID drawings.
• Create demonstration graphics with embedded logic for PREFAT and FAT activities.
• Interact directly with customers/clients during PREFAT and FAT, addressing technical queries.
• Prepare documentation for FAT closure, including punch lists and HIS checklists.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Experience as a System Engineer at Yokogawa India (Bangalore) and Yokogawa Middle East (Abu Dhabi).
• Experience as a System Engineer at ABB Global Industries & Services (Bangalore).

Required skills

• DCS, ESD and FGS graphics generation and debugging.
• Logic generation for simple loops, trend and control‑group configuration.
• Pre‑FAT and FAT activities, including documentation preparation.
• Basic panel‑engineering knowledge such as GA/IPW checks.
• Loop identification and checking from P&ID drawings.
