About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Process to lead the design, verification and commissioning of sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and irrigation systems in Dubai, ensuring compliance with local standards and delivering high‑quality solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Review and verify process design calculations for sewage treatment plants, pumping stations and irrigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality standards and coordinate approvals, comments and design clarifications.
- Evaluate hydraulic profiles, flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and recommend process improvements.
- Review contractor technical submittals, design reports, method statements and material submittals.
- Inspect and witness installation, FAT and SAT of process equipment such as pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, chemical dosing and odor control systems.
- Monitor pre‑commissioning, commissioning and trial runs, verify performance against design parameters and support QA/QC documentation.
Required profile
- Degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering for water and wastewater projects, preferably in Dubai or a similar regulatory environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality codes, international standards and best practices for STP, pumping and irrigation systems.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage RFIs, NCRs and design clarifications.
