Senior Engineering Technician – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technician – Engineering to join the engineering team at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island, a flagship eco‑conscious luxury resort in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality repairs, maintenance and technical support across the property’s facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance works as directed.
• Complete work orders, Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks and Corrective Work Authorisations (CWA).
• Organise work in a skilled and professional manner and advise supervisors of any issues promptly.
• Ensure safe working conditions for yourself and colleagues and report hazards.
• Work independently without full supervision while adhering to Engineering Department policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar engineering role within a hospitality environment.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate strong problem‑solving and follow‑up abilities.
• Knowledge of fire‑life‑safety (FLS) systems and high‑rise building systems.
• Flexibility to respond to guest requests.
