Senior English Copywriter – Freelance

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Senior English Copywriter to lead the quality of English content for a destination‑experiences platform in the UAE. The role focuses on turning functional listing data into engaging, visitor‑first copy while maintaining a consistent brand voice across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Transform listing information into clear, inspiring copy that prioritises visitor needs.
• Write UX microcopy, calls‑to‑action, FAQs, and error/empty‑state messages.
• Maintain a unified tone of voice across all pages, from the first to the last.
• Implement SEO best practices, including metadata, headings and keywords, without compromising the brand voice.
• Collaborate with Arabic content partners to transcreate content rather than translate.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in‑house setting, with a digital‑first portfolio.
• Background in travel, tourism or destination marketing; government exposure is a plus.
• Proven UX and web writing credentials, beyond brand and campaign work.
• Self‑directed, able to deliver publish‑ready copy from a brief with minimal revisions.
• Strong attention to factual accuracy, naming conventions and style‑guide adherence.
