Senior Financial Specialist – Credit & Tax

About the role

The Senior Financial Specialist – Credit & Tax will lead credit control, tax compliance and financial reporting activities. You will work closely with finance leadership, commercial teams, auditors and tax authorities to ensure accurate financial controls and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee customer credit exposure, set limits and conduct risk assessments.
• Monitor receivables ageing, chase overdue balances and improve cash‑flow collection.
• Strengthen credit control processes and produce regular risk and receivables reports.
• Ensure timely VAT and corporate tax filings, prepare reconciliations and act as liaison with tax advisors and authorities.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, including balance‑sheet reconciliations for receivables, taxes and provisions.
• Maintain data integrity in SAP and assist internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within finance systems.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification or part‑qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 5‑7 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in manufacturing, trading or FMCG.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
