Senior Fitness Instructor – Sports & Leisure

About the role

Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre is seeking a Senior Fitness Instructor to lead its Sports & Leisure fitness centre. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and residents while driving revenue through personal training and class sales.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily opening and closing checklists, maintaining the fitness centre and pool area to the highest standards.
• Provide expert advice on safe training techniques to members and in‑house guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across all gym zones, including cardio, resistance, free‑weights, studio, and assessment rooms.
• Proactively sell personal training sessions, group classes, and other amenities to maximise revenue.
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and manage the profit‑and‑loss within allocated targets.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised fitness certification (e.g., YMCA, ACSM, Premier Training or equivalent).
• Excellent listening and communication abilities to understand client needs.
• Flexibility to manage people, priorities and operational requirements.
• Positive, proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Proven track record of motivating individuals to achieve fitness goals.
