Senior Foreman - Bus AC Maintenance

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Senior Foreman for bus air conditioning maintenance in Dubai. The role manages all aspects of AC maintenance and repair for the bus fleet, supervises a team of technicians, schedules and monitors maintenance tasks and ensures compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inspection, diagnostics, repair and servicing of bus AC systems (compressors, condensers, evaporators, blower motors) and maintain accurate repair logs and inventory records
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Lead, supervise and train a team of AC technicians, allocate daily work, conduct performance appraisals and enforce safety policies
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental laws such as refrigerant handling, and coordinate with fleet and operations managers to schedule maintenance with minimal impact on bus availability
• Manage spare parts, tools and equipment, liaise with procurement and monitor maintenance costs

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 15 years of hands-on AC maintenance experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of bus HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and record-keeping

What we offer

• Salary of AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month
• Working hours 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
