Senior FP&A Financial Analyst – MENA, Turkey & South Africa

About the role

Amazon is seeking a senior FP&A analyst to support its Stores business across MENA, Turkey and South Africa. You will act as the primary finance partner, driving financial storytelling, controls and automation while collaborating with retail, operations, marketing and tech teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to FP&A contact for finance and business teams in the three regions.
• Own month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring data integrity and high‑level financial controls.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis for leadership on intra‑month performance and one‑off reviews.
• Drive controllership of regional stores financials, analyze variances and develop action plans.
• Lead an AI‑based roadmap to automate reporting cycles and leverage BI capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to apply global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to global teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance or related analytical roles.
• Proven track record applying KPIs, creating process improvements and automating finance tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, business or a quantitative field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Experience with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
