Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Open Innovation AI is expanding its on‑site product engineering team in Abu Dhabi and is looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer. You will write high‑quality code, collaborate with UI/UX designers, and influence the architecture of our AI‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deliver complex user‑facing features using modern TypeScript and React frameworks.
• Participate in technical design discussions, review proposals, and help shape frontend architecture.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to extend and refine the component library, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Rotate across feature development, performance optimisation, tooling improvements, and design‑system tasks.
• Champion automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code‑review best practices to maintain a fast and safe release cadence.
• Evaluate new libraries, propose refactors, and introduce tooling that improves developer productivity.

Required skills

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript and React (or comparable component‑based framework).
• Strong knowledge of modern CSS techniques, including Flexbox, Grid, and pre/post‑processors.
• Familiarity with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of basic data structures.
