Senior Hostess – Luxury Hotel Restaurant

About the role

The Senior Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant of Rixos Bab Al Bahr, a luxury hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. You will ensure smooth seating, manage reservations, and uphold the high standards of Turkish hospitality that the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls within three rings, handle reservations, cancellations and communicate changes to management.
• Maintain knowledge of dining room layout, table setups, capacity, and dress code to guide guests accurately.
• Greet guests, assign tables fairly, present menus and ensure guests are satisfied with their seating.
• Monitor waiting lines during peak periods, anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables, maintain cleanliness of the hostess stand and related equipment.
• Promote other food & beverage outlets during downtime and support restaurant staff as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or equivalent.
• Fresher or up to 1 year experience in a 4‑5 star hotel environment.
• Ability to follow hotel policies, fire, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
