Senior HR Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to lead all human‑resource activities for our steel manufacturing plant in the United Arab Emirates. The role will be the primary point of contact for factory workers, ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations and smooth payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily biometric attendance, calculate overtime and prepare accurate monthly payroll.
• Act as the main liaison for factory workers, explaining salary breakdowns, handling complaints, disciplinary issues and daily conflicts.
• Collaborate with the Production team to screen, hire and train blue‑collar staff and develop retention plans to reduce turnover.
• Manage contracts with labour‑supply agencies and ensure all HR operations comply with UAE Labour Law and the Wage Protection System.
• Administer workers’ medical insurance and process workplace accident or injury claims.
• Build, improve and implement HR policies, factory labour rules and disciplinary guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years managing blue‑collar staff in a UAE factory or manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS regulations and payroll calculations.
• Fluent in Hindi and highly proficient in English.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
