Senior Interior Designer

About the role

mustard&linen is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead residential, workplace and commercial projects from concept through delivery. The role blends creative thinking, technical confidence and strong communication, with an interest in AI and digital tools to enhance design processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects from concept development through design development, technical coordination and execution.
• Create creative concepts, mood boards, material palettes and design narratives.
• Produce and review presentations, layouts, design packages and technical information.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist teams.
• Attend site meetings and inspections to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Mentor junior designers and review their work.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience on residential and workspace projects.
• Degree in Interior Design or a related internationally recognised degree.
• Strong presentation and client‑facing skills, with excellent English communication; Arabic speaking preferred.
• Previous UAE & GCC experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, AI, AutoCAD, InDesign and Revit (a plus).
• Strong space planning, detailing and interior construction knowledge.
• Ability to review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and RFIs.
