Senior Land Surveyor - Civil and Infrastructure Projects

About the role

This Land Surveyor position sits within the Engineering department and covers civil, structural and infrastructure works. The surveyor plans, coordinates and executes land surveying activities, ensuring accurate setting-out, measurement, verification and recording of project works in line with approved drawings, specifications, coordinates and levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute land surveying for civil, structural and infrastructure works
• Ensure accurate setting-out, measurement, verification and recording of works according to approved drawings, specifications, coordinates and levels
• Maintain survey accuracy and control throughout construction
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, Geomatics or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of land surveying experience in civil and infrastructure projects
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage

• Civil, structural and infrastructure surveying, including survey control networks, benchmarks and coordinate systems
• Setting-out, construction verification and reading engineering drawings and coordinates
• Survey calculations, coordinate data and as-built preparation
• AutoCAD and survey software
• Operation of Total Station, GPS/GNSS and levelling equipment
• Coordination with engineering, construction, QA/QC and consultant teams
