Senior Lead Auditor (Certification)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Lead Auditor to join the Certification Department of Bureau Veritas in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading external audits against ISO standards, managing client relationships and ensuring audit integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and close full certification cycles for ISO management systems.
• Coordinate with clients, technical teams and certification leadership throughout the audit process.
• Prepare audit reports, manage non‑conformities and ensure timely submission for approval.
• Maintain impartiality and avoid conflicts of interest while delivering high‑quality audit outcomes.
• Support client satisfaction by providing regular updates and addressing technical queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience auditing QHSE, BCMS, EnMS or AMS for marine, oil and gas clients.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Qualified auditor for ISO standards such as QHSE, BCMS, EnMS, AMS.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 17021, IAF and accreditation requirements.

Required skills

• ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015/2026, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 22301:2019.
• ISO 50001, ISO 55001, ITSMS, ISMS, PIMS.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Office 365 (Word, Excel).
• Experience using planning and scheduling software.
• Understanding of NACE code classification and industry technical classifications.
