Senior Mechanical Engineer MEP

About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer MEP will lead mechanical and HVAC engineering delivery across the project lifecycle for TAQA and ADNOC projects, ensuring compliance with scope, quality, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical MEP and HVAC design, review calculations, equipment selection, duct layouts, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems.
• Coordinate with TAQA representatives, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams for design reviews, inspections, and approvals.
• Supervise installation, testing, pre‑commissioning and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with TAQA standards and international codes.
• Manage technical queries, non‑conformances, corrective actions, and design changes.
• Monitor construction progress, manpower, material availability and ensure HSE and QA/QC compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of mechanical MEP/HVAC experience in industrial construction or energy/utilities projects.
• Mandatory TAQA project experience.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA standards and project‑specific requirements.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills.
