Senior Officer Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Officer – Maintenance to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for industrial laundry production and utility equipment. The role focuses on maximising equipment availability, ensuring effective preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multi‑disciplinary technicians across Mechanical, Electrical and Automation/PLC disciplines.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure technicians are trained, certified and compliant with safety requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs and service providers for technical support.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades and improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs and asset registers.
• Report key maintenance indicators such as downtime, MTTR, PPM completion and recurring faults.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for the Chief Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe working practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of maintenance experience in an industrial laundry, hospitality or process plant environment.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial laundry equipment and utility systems.
• Good knowledge of Automation, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Health & Safety and/or Boiler certification preferred.
