Senior Offshore Scheduling & Planning Engineer

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer to join its offshore Project Management Services (PMS) team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the client’s (Khafji Joint Operations) project management team, ensuring accurate schedule, cost and risk information throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project controls team on multiple offshore projects.
• Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor and forecast engineering and construction activities, tracking procurement and budget performance.
• Review early‑stage deliverables (FEL1/FEL2) for cost, schedule and risk compliance.
• Provide cost estimation, budgeting and benchmarking for upstream oil & gas projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 14 years of experience in project management, planning and scheduling for large oil & gas projects.
• At least 10 years of direct involvement in cost estimation, budget control and procurement tracking.
• Experience with PMC roles on similar offshore projects is preferred.
• Engineering, construction or project management degree.
