About the role
The Senior Operator will operate, monitor and control bulk product units at the plant, ensuring products meet specifications while adhering to HSE standards and maximizing yield.
Key responsibilities
- Operate control panels and related machinery safely according to standard operating procedures.
- Log operating incidents, supervise routine equipment checks, and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Manage work permits, monitor contractor activities, and act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies.
- Utilize the Integrated Control System to adjust speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates during start‑ups, shutdowns and emergencies.
- Ensure proper chemical handling, dosing and compliance with HSE procedures.
Required profile
- Technical Diploma or secondary school certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
- Minimum 6 years of plant operations experience in a large industrial oil and gas facility.
