Senior Pipeline Engineer (Offshore)

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead the design, engineering and delivery of offshore piping systems for oil and gas facilities in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on managing complex offshore projects from concept through commissioning, operation and start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop piping and related systems for offshore oil and gas plants, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Lead the engineering team through the full project lifecycle, including detailed design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start‑up.
• Coordinate with client representatives, especially on ARAMCO projects, to meet technical and contractual requirements.
• Perform technical reviews, risk assessments and quality checks to guarantee safety and reliability of offshore pipelines.
• Support operation and maintenance phases by providing technical documentation and troubleshooting assistance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 years in piping for major oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven offshore project experience, including commissioning, operation and start‑up.
• Direct experience on ARAMCO projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of international piping codes and standards.
