Senior Planning and Claims Specialist

About the role

TBH is seeking a Senior Consultant specialising in Planning, Claims and Dispute Resolution to support major residential, commercial, hospitality, infrastructure and mixed-use developments across the UAE. The role applies specialised expertise across contract management to support the delivery of a major complex project, and prior Middle East project experience is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of project schedules and plans, with client objectives and milestones
• Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear, professional communication
• Mentor and guide junior team members
• Analyse data from multiple sources and tailor reporting for project leadership and stakeholders
• Prepare client-facing deliverables, including detailed analysis, technical reports and presentation material
• Prepare, maintain and analyse complex schedules using tools such as Primavera P6
• Apply planning and scheduling methodologies to identify and address project risks, constraints and opportunities
• Implement project controls best practices and support knowledge sharing through technical workshops and client training
• Promote continuous improvement and ensure outputs meet high standards of accuracy and quality

Required profile

• 8+ years' experience in Planning, Scheduling, Project Controls and Claims Management
• Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or equivalent
• Experience across the full project lifecycle, including tender planning, baseline programmes, progress monitoring, delay analysis, EOT claims, completion and claims/dispute close-out
• Hands-on contractor experience on at least one complete construction project lifecycle
• Ability to advise clients on constructability, sequencing and delay analysis options
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Autonomous work style and leadership of junior team members; previous consultancy experience highly regarded
