Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect Datacenter & Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Pre‑Sales Solutions Architect to design and position end‑to‑end, multi‑vendor datacenter and hybrid‑cloud solutions for enterprise and government customers in the United Arab Emirates. The role collaborates closely with sales, delivery, OEM partners and customers to create scalable, secure and commercially viable architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements to gather business, technical and compliance requirements across enterprise and government sectors.
• Design end‑to‑end system‑integration solutions covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, DR, security and cloud.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level designs (HLD/LLD), solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Act as technical lead for RFPs, RFIs and tenders, including architecture, compliance matrices and BoQs.
• Support sales teams on large SI deals (AED 1M–50M+) ensuring strong technical and commercial alignment.
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts, demos and solution validations.
• Perform TCO/ROI analysis and align solutions with customer budgets and timelines.
• Design and position hybrid‑cloud and cloud‑native architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Architect container platforms using Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes integrated with on‑prem and public cloud.
• Collaborate with delivery, PMO and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from pre‑sales to implementation.
• Define scope, assumptions, risks and dependencies in SI proposals and ensure compliance with security, governance and SLA requirements.
• Engage OEMs, distributors and technology partners for solution design, pricing and enablement.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in pre‑sales, solutions architecture or system integration.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale datacenter and cloud projects valued between AED 1M and 50M.
• Deep understanding of enterprise and government compliance and security requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills to work with sales, delivery and OEM partners.
