Senior Principal Package Management Specialist

About the role

The Senior Principal Package Management Specialist drives the delivery of high‑value packages across complex projects, ensuring schedule, budget and quality targets are met. This role reports to the Area Package Management Lead and works closely with engineering, supply chain, QHSES and vendor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering, supply chain and vendor activities to deliver packages on schedule and within budget.
• Own critical purchase orders and sub‑contracts, managing risks, cost forecasts and change notices.
• Coordinate across functions to resolve bottlenecks, conduct status meetings and maintain accurate package cost accounting.
• Develop contingency plans, capture lessons learned and ensure proper hand‑over of vendor documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships, enforce contract compliance and drive resolution of escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 10‑16 years of relevant experience in package management, supply chain or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial, technical and business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication.
