Senior Process Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process‑oriented projects for on‑shore and off‑shore oil & gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role involves technical supervision, design optimisation and coordination across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise process designers and draftsmen, review specifications, data sheets and vendor documents.
• Manage engineering studies, feasibility and concept phases, and produce technical reports, operating manuals and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with lead engineers to monitor quality, schedule and budget, and ensure compliance with ADNOC VIP/VAP, API standards and local regulations.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities, including equipment specification and material requisitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; Chartered Professional Engineer status preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of process design experience in on‑shore/off‑shore oil & gas, including greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, make decisions under pressure and drive innovative solutions.

Required skills

• Process simulation tools: HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet, HTRI.
• Pipeline modelling: OLGA, Pipesim, Pipeline Studio, Pipephase, Pipenet.
• Knowledge of API standards (API‑520, API‑521, API‑14C, API‑14E) and ADNOC VIP/VAP assurance processes.
• Experience with highly sour fluid processing, option selection studies and revamp projects.
