Senior Project Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) will support planning, execution and delivery of projects, coordinating technical activities and managing contractor and consultant interfaces. The role is primarily office‑based in Abu Dhabi with regular coordination with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Tendering and service order preparation, including scope definition, technical evaluation and commercial coordination.
• Assist in transition projects, planning, scheduling and coordinating all technical aspects.
• Follow up design drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Senior Project Manager in managing site activities, contractor performance and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor work progress, ensure alignment with schedule, quality standards and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with clients, contractors and international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
