Senior Project Engineer – Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer leads engineering activities for industrial refrigeration (IREF) projects, ensuring technical compliance, timely delivery, and seamless integration between design, procurement, and site execution. The role supports both pre‑sales and post‑sales phases, protecting margins and aligning with client and consultant requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering across all project phases, from concept design to commissioning.
• Review and validate technical documentation, IFC and shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Provide technical evaluation for suppliers, support procurement, and manage interfaces between design, QA/QC, and site teams.
• Resolve site engineering issues, support installation, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify risks early, propose mitigation plans, and protect project schedule and gross margin.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Refrigeration Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Minimum five years of experience in industrial or large‑scale commercial refrigeration projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
