Senior Project Engineer

About the role

The Senior Project Engineer will lead the planning, execution, and close‑out of large‑scale steel building projects across the United Arab Emirates, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from concept to commissioning, managing schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, procurement, fabrication, and field crews.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Lead value‑engineering initiatives to optimize cost and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing steel building construction projects.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑million‑dollar projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ASCE, and local building codes.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PMP is a plus.

• BIM tools.
