Senior Registered Nurse - Urgent Care

About the role

Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital is recruiting one Senior Registered Nurse for its urgent care service in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The nurse leads and manages the nursing team in providing patient-centred, evidence-based care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences. The closing date is 29 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team.
• Ensure evidence-based patient care practices are followed according to clinical standards.
• Create a positive patient care experience by developing employees and fostering team engagement.
• Manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost-effective way to support safe patient care.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised or accredited nursing institute.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certificates.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital or clinic; at least 2 years of senior nursing experience is desired.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Ability to carry out all five stages of the scientific nursing process: assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation.
• Knowledge of relevant JCIA and other governance and regulatory standards, and of the nursing scope of practice under the regulatory framework.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of financial management, risk management and stock control principles.
