Senior Regulatory Food Specialist

About the role

EMS Body Fit Egypt is hiring a part-time, hybrid Senior Regulatory Food Specialist based in Dubai, UAE, with some flexibility to work from home. The specialist reviews and interprets local and international food regulations so that products, menus and preparation processes comply with applicable standards and certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update regulatory documentation
• Advise on ingredient selection and labeling
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement compliant food preparation and service practices
• Monitor regulatory changes and prepare reports and compliance summaries
• Train and guide colleagues on food safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with suppliers, regulatory authorities and cross-functional teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in a regulatory or quality role in the food or hospitality sector, preferably at a senior or specialist level
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while managing part-time schedules

• Food operations: Food Preparation, Food & Beverage, Food Service and Cooking
• Experience with food safety standards, labeling regulations and compliance frameworks such as HACCP and ISO
• Analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail in compliance reporting
