Senior Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions Coverage

About the role

A leading international financial services institution with a strong presence across the Middle East, Europe and global markets is recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager for Financial Institutions Coverage in Dubai. Reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions, the role leads origination, relationship management and transaction execution across the Middle East, and offers the chance to drive revenue growth, support senior bankers and own select client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support origination across FI, NBFI and SWF client segments
• Manage client relationships, own specific accounts and contribute to regional revenue objectives
• Prepare and deliver marketing materials, pitchbooks, term sheets, transaction summaries and external-facing documentation
• Structure financing solutions with product partners across corporate finance, capital markets and other specialist teams
• Support live transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, internal processes and compliance
• Conduct market and client research, attend client meetings and represent the team at industry events
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders across regional coverage, credit, legal, operations and global teams
• Train and support junior colleagues and manage workstreams
• Handle multiple tasks under tight timelines across departments and regions

Required profile

• 8-12 years' experience in Financial Institutions Coverage at a leading bank
• Degree-educated, ideally with a postgraduate qualification; CFA preferred
• Strong understanding of FI, NBFI and sovereign wealth clients, their market dynamics and product sets
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality pitch materials and manage origination pipelines
• Experience working under pressure, juggling priorities and collaborating internationally across functions and seniorities

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of banking products, FI credit, structuring and documentation
• Excellent financial modelling, numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders internally and externally
