Senior Resident Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to lead road and infrastructure works on a major UAE project. You will oversee staff efficiency, ensure compliance with contract documents, and manage testing, inspection, and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the client’s programme and progress reports.
• Inspect all workmanship and materials to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate vertical and horizontal controls and perform layout checks on line and grades.
• Review and approve shop drawings and manage soil and material testing.
• Prepare variation orders, monthly progress reports, and certify progress payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of experience on large‑scale highway, interchange and structure projects in the Middle East, preferably UAE/Dubai.
