Senior Sales Engineer - BMS, Controls

About the role

The Senior Sales Engineer – BMS, Controls supports growth and manages major accounts for the Service Department of Building Technology and Solutions. Reporting to the Sales Manager – Controls, the role focuses on acquiring business through AMC contracts, pull‑through and retrofit projects, and digital solution selling.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to company processes, policies and compliance requirements.
• Develop market strategies to differentiate Johnson Controls and drive sales.
• Engage customers by creating solutions using the BMS product portfolio.
• Focus on business development through AMC contracts, retrofits, control optimisation and digital solutions.
• Identify strategic accounts within the JCI installed base and collaborate with internal pre‑sales teams to craft techno‑commercial proposals.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience selling maintenance and service contracts, replacement/upgrade projects for building management systems.
• Proven track record of expanding accounts and generating new business.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong customer focus, organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
